I'll be living in the San Marcos/Austin area next year, and I would like to become more active to help out in the coming elections. I don't know what the best compaign strategies are, but I'm wondering how well door hangers work? The lp.org site has a simple hanger to highlight a specific candidate. Is there an existing one that is more general that just educates people about the Libertarian Party, or are the general door hangers not effective?

For design I was thinking 3 parts:

1. "World's Smallest Political Quiz"

Makes the card more interactive - hopefully keep their attention longer than the time it takes to walk to the trash. Maybe good for college students who aren't already entrenched with a specific political party?

2. List of general beliefs of Texas Libertarians (pulled from this website):

    * Substantially reduce the size and intrusiveness of government and cut all taxes.
    * Let peaceful, honest people offer their goods and services to willing consumers without a hasssle.
    * Let peaceful, honest people decide for themselves what to eat, drink, read, or smoke and how to dress, medicate themselves, or make love, without fear of criminal penalties.
    * The U.S. government should defend Americans and their property in America and let the U.S. taxpayer off the hook for the defense bill of wealthy countries like Germany and Japan.

3. Specific agenda for Texas:

School Vouchers, etc... (It was on the old website design, can't seem to find a new one though.)
