Dallas is by far the winner in most enthusiastic city for Tax Freedom Day!  With an overcrowded room of 60 plus, Dallas celebrated in style at the Saltgrass Steakhouse in Grapevine Texas.  Tax Freedom Day Dinners are a Libertarian celebration of the last official day of paying Uncle Sam for the year.  It is the day where Americans can start keeping their hard earned money and spend it as they please--What's not to celebrate?!
The sound of relief fell over the Saltgrass Steakhouse in Austin on April 15th as the happy Libertarians celebrated the last day of having to pay Uncle Sam for the year.  The rest of the money we earn this year is ours to keep!  25 Austin Libertarians listened to the Gubernatorial candidates speak on their platform.  This is a great opportunity for the candidates to get out and reach the delegates who will be voting for  them on June 12th at the State Convention in Austin.
Syndicated radio talk show host Neal Boortz, a Libertarian Party member, has been uninvited as a speaker to the Libertarian Party's national convention in St Louis the weekend of May 28 -31.
