Libertarians Nominate Candidates at County Conventions Today
AUSTIN, TEXAS - March 13, 2010 -- Libertarians will nominate their candidates today (Saturday) at County Conventions held across the state. At these conventions, three important issues will be voted upon by the delegates:
2. Elect county party officers and make bylaw amendments.
3. Elect delegates to the District and State Conventions. List the voters who wish to be delegates to the National Convention on Memorial Day weekend in St. Louis, Missouri. The State Libertarian Executive Committee will vote on who becomes national delegates on April 17th.
1. Nominate candidates for public office within the county's borders. Only candidates who filed the Application for Nomination are eligible. "None of the Above" (NOTA) is always a choice.
2. Elect county party officers and make bylaw amendments.
